In Aion 2, fast progression is not just about grinding levels. The real system is built around Main Story Quest (MSQ) progression, gear optimization, and unlocking passive power systems that scale your character far beyond what raw level suggests. If you understand how these layers interact, you can reach max level 45 quickly and transition into endgame-ready power much faster than average players.
Fast progression is essentially about three things: rushing MSQ efficiently, maintaining strong combat power through gear upgrades, and unlocking Daevanion-based systems as early as possible. Raw leveling alone does not reflect real strength in Aion 2.
Fast-Track Leveling Roadmap (1–45)
The most efficient leveling path focuses almost entirely on MSQ completion with minimal distractions. A fully optimized run can reach level 45 in under 24 hours.
Levels 1–15 (MSQ Rush)
At the start, ignore all side content. Follow only the Yellow MSQ markers. These quests unlock your core systems such as fast travel, basic gear, and combat progression mechanics. Staying on MSQ ensures you never waste time on low-value activities.
Levels 15–25 (Controlled Diversions)
At this stage, progression will occasionally slow due to level gates. Only complete Green regional quests or sealed dungeons if they are directly on your MSQ path. Avoid detours that require travel or farming outside your route.
Levels 25–35 (Power Scaling Phase)
This is where character strength begins to matter more. Start investing Kinah into weapon enhancements. Do not hesitate to upgrade gear because extracted items return your enhancement materials at almost full value. This allows aggressive upgrading with minimal long-term risk.
Levels 35–45 (Daevanion Core Progression)
From this point, MSQ requirements increase significantly. You will need higher gear score to continue. Focus on sealed dungeons and Empyrean Trace activities to earn Daevanion points. These unlock core passive upgrades that directly affect your build power.
Class-Specific Progression Styles
While all classes follow the same MSQ structure, each archetype has a different optimal way of maintaining speed and efficiency.
Templar and Cleric
These classes progress smoothly due to high survivability. They are frequently invited to dungeon groups, making them ideal for consistent gear farming. Focus on defensive and healing skill upgrades early to stabilize solo MSQ speed.
Gladiator and Sorcerer
These are high AoE damage classes with extremely fast clearing potential. They excel in regional quest farming and grouped enemy zones. However, they require good positioning to avoid downtime from deaths or interruptions.
Marksman and Spiritmaster
These are the safest solo farming classes. Their range advantage allows consistent grinding without risk. They are especially efficient for overworld farming and mini-boss control through kiting.
Assassin and Chanter
Assassin is a high-burst, high-mechanics class that clears bosses quickly but requires skill mastery. Chanter performs best in group environments due to strong buffs and support scaling.
Core Power Systems You Cannot Ignore
Daevanion Skill Boards
Leveling alone is not enough. Daevanion boards are the main source of permanent character growth. Points are earned from side content and sealed dungeons, and they unlock major stat scaling.
Blue glyphs increase active skill caps and allow enhancements beyond normal limits. Prioritize key combat skills first.
Green glyphs improve passive stats and provide steady long-term power increases.
Class Runes and Rift Content
Rifts appear regularly and should be treated as high priority content. Entering rifts provides Class Runes and Stigma Shards, which can significantly increase overall power.
Even just two equipped runes can equal the strength of a major gear upgrade. However, upgrading runes beyond +1 is risky and often not worth the chance of permanent loss.
Permanent Gear Progression
Certain items like Amulets and Belts remain relevant throughout the entire game. These should always be upgraded using Empyrean Trace materials.
Because they never get replaced, they are safe long-term investment pieces. Once they reach high enhancement levels, stop upgrading to avoid excessive resource cost.
Alt Character Strategy
Using alternate characters is a key efficiency strategy in Aion 2 due to daily and weekly resource limits.
The most effective approach is to rush alts to mid-to-late game quickly without investing heavily in them. Their main purpose is resource generation.
A strong farming method is running simple dungeons like Fire Temple in Explore Mode. These runs provide steady Kinah income and occasional high-value gear drops.
The goal is not to build alts as full characters, but to funnel their rewards into your main account to accelerate gear optimization and stat rerolling.
Post-Level 45 Progression Loop
Once level 45 is reached, progression shifts away from experience and becomes focused entirely on Gear Score milestones.
Early Endgame (Around 1000 GS)
Complete Abyss-related questlines to secure your first high-tier weapon. Upgrade it immediately, as weapon scaling has the largest impact on overall strength.
Mid Endgame (1000–1500 GS)
Focus on expedition dungeons and conquest content. These replace leveling gear with stronger gold-tier equipment.
Advanced Progression (1500+ GS)
Farm Abyss Points through world bosses and PvP events. These points unlock powerful permanent accessories.
High Endgame (1700+ GS and beyond)
Begin Transcendence progression and unlock higher-tier zones such as sky island content. This is where long-term optimization and gear refinement become the main focus.
