When I first started playing Battlefield 6, I underestimated how powerful the humble Anti-Vehicle Mine could be. Most players get caught up with rocket launchers or fancy lock-on systems, but the Engineer’s mines are absolute game changers if you know how to use them smartly.

The beauty of the Anti-Vehicle Mine lies in its simplicity — it’s literally a “set and forget” gadget. You drop it on the ground, walk away, and wait for an unsuspecting tank or IFV to roll right into your trap. The explosion that follows is pure satisfaction. But success with mines isn’t about random placement; it’s all about prediction and positioning.

I usually place mines on choke points leading to objectives, especially narrow roads or bridges where vehicles have no alternative route. Another great spot is behind cover near capture points — many drivers reverse or maneuver without checking behind them. Watching an enemy tank blow up from a spot they thought was safe never gets old buy Battlefield 6 Boosting.

Timing also matters. I often deploy mines after my squad captures a flag, anticipating an enemy counterattack. It’s hilarious to hear my squadmates yell in voice chat when they see the kill feed light up with “Vehicle Destroyed” minutes later.

One more tip: pair mines with other Engineer gadgets. If you have an RPG-7V2 ready, you can use your mines to weaken a tank and then finish it off manually. Or, if you know a repair crew is nearby, plant mines along escape routes so even if the tank survives your first ambush, it won’t survive the retreat.

Don’t underestimate the psychological effect either. Once the enemy realizes mines are being used, they’ll slow down, hesitate, and waste precious time scanning the ground. That alone gives your team a tactical advantage Bf6 bot lobby.

So next time you spawn as an Engineer, skip the fancy launchers for a few rounds and get creative with mines. It’s not just about destroying vehicles — it’s about controlling the battlefield, predicting enemy behavior, and letting them destroy themselves.
