I’m not jumping on the
bo6 bot lobby service hype train just yet. Sony is no stranger to strategic leaks and “rumors” that build buzz without confirming anything. This new rumor about an “unexpected” PS5 bundle feels like classic marketing—create mystery, stoke speculation, and let the internet do the rest.
What qualifies as “unexpected” anyway? A PS5 with a game and DualSense controller isn’t unexpected. If it’s really something new—like a VR2 integration bundle, or some kind of streaming-only PS5 for cloud gaming—that would be interesting. But I’m not holding my breath. The timing is suspicious too. We’re just months away from when Sony’s expected to talk about the PS5 Pro. Why would they muddy the waters now?
I also worry this is just a reskin—maybe a new colorway like the “Deep Earth” controllers, or a themed version for an upcoming game like “Silent Hill 2” or “Stellar Blade.” Cool? Sure. Groundbreaking? No.
Still, if it helps people who haven’t been able to snag a PS5 yet, or includes better value (maybe PS Plus Premium bundled for 6 months?), then I guess I can’t be too mad. I’m just wary of letting my hopes get too high, especially when it comes to corporate announcements.
Let’s keep expectations in check, folks. Sony loves surprises—but they love
bo6 bot lobby profit more.
