| Sujet du message : | U4GM Diablo 4: What Are Pounds of Flesh |
Pounds of Flesh sit right in the middle of Diablo 4's harder endgame loop, and you'll feel that as soon as you start chasing them. They're not the sort of material you casually pick up while half-watching a stream. You need Torment access, a build that doesn't fall over, and a reason to keep pushing. For most players, that reason is simple: stronger Diablo 4 Items, better boss rewards, and a cleaner route toward the builds people actually want to play late in the season. Where Pounds of Flesh come from The main source is Bloodied content. These are tougher versions of endgame activities, usually tied to Bloodied Sigils or Blood-Soaked Sigils. A Bloodied Sigil bumps the danger up by making enemies hit like they belong in a higher Torment tier. Blood-Soaked Sigils go even further, and they're not friendly to lazy setups. If your damage is shaky or your defenses are thin, you'll know within the first pull. Still, these runs are worth doing because they can drop Pounds of Flesh along with useful gear, gold, and other boss materials. Getting the right sigils You'll need the sigils before the real farming starts. They can drop from enemies in Torment, and higher difficulty usually means better odds. Seasonal caches are another steady source, especially if you're already clearing bounty-style objectives. Some players just run Nightmare Dungeons, kill elites, and let the sigils come naturally. That's honestly not a bad plan. Don't tunnel too hard on one method, though. If you only spam one activity, bad luck feels awful. Mix dungeons, seasonal goals, and general elite farming so you're always gaining something, even when the sigil drops are slow. Other farming routes worth using Kurast Undercity runs can also help, especially when you use a Tribute of Titans. This route gives you access to different boss key rewards, so it's handy when you don't want to live inside Bloodied dungeons all night. The catch is that the reward pool is wider. You might walk away with good materials, but not always the Pounds of Flesh you were hoping for. I'd treat it as a side route, not the main one. Run it when you need a change of pace or when your build handles Undercity layouts faster than dense Bloodied maps. Using the material and making runs count Once you've got enough Pounds of Flesh, you can spend them to challenge the Butcher's Hoard in The Broiler at Gea Kul. This isn't the random Butcher who jumps you in a dungeon and ruins your mood. This version is nastier, with more pressure, harsher mechanics, and less room for sloppy movement. Go in with capped defenses, a reliable single-target setup, and mobility you can trust. The reward pool includes build-changing uniques such as Blood-Mad Idol, Wendigo Brand, Wyrdskin, Rustbitten Dirk, and Thousand-Eyed Reaver. If you're still filling gaps in your loadout, comparing drops with cheap Diablo 4 Items can also help you decide what's worth farming next without wasting hours on the wrong target. |
